Special Project - "Philippine Flood Relief" fund to help those who are victims of the Sept. 26, 2009, floods. If you are led of the Lord to give just write your check to "SEND International" earmarked "Philippine Flood Relief." Please see mailing addresses listed below. Any money that's given will be distributed by our local SEND Area Council to churches and people who are most in need.
Project #1 - Printing Bible Values Curriculum
One of the greatest strengths of the VOICE ministry is its Bible-based values focused curriculum which is being developed specifically for the Philippine public school students. Presently, ten of the planned 16 modules have been published. In order to publish the remaining modules, an additional $66,000 above the day-by-day operating costs is needed. $11 prints the material needed for one teacher to teach Bible values to a class of 50+ students for 12 weeks (less than $1 a week!).
Project #2 - Portable Pubic Address System
As VOICE grows, so do opportunities to promote, present special Bible values programs, offer training, etc. We have found that taking our own sound system has been a huge help especially to school events. Presently, VOICE has had to borrow one. A reliable sound system will cost around $1,400.
Project #3 - New Testaments for values students
(a project especially for children--Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, etc.)
VOICE tries to help partnering churches provide a New Testament (the values textbook) for each values students. $20 will provide an entire class (55 students) with New Testaments as well as a whole Bible for the classroom teacher.
